1. Ballina Holiday Brochure
James has led a small committee putting in place plans for Ballina. I would like to pass on the following information from James about the Ballina Trip away including the attachment with ride details.
Local rides will start and finish at the Discovery Parks Ballina.
The start time for all rides is 9AM including the rides starting from Stokers Siding and Suffolk Park. All rides are club rides, so participants need to sign on to the ride sheet.
The rides have been carefully designed to take into account the different riders we have in the Club. Every day there is a Group 2 level ride with some days having a longer option for those that want to ride further.
Carol will lead 2 rides for the “Easy Riders” who prefer a shorter ride and some sightseeing in Byron Bay.
This trip away there is no formal rest day with rides planned every day. Other trips on the "rest days" some riders still wanted to go out riding and did so. This trip riders are free to have one or more rest days if they would like that. Its a riding holiday so you can ride and holiday as you wish
Carol will have 2 or 3 available paddle boards for use by members and Carol will provide training for those interested.
For those that want to go fishing there will be time to do that.
Ballina is a place that many have wanted the Club to go to for some time and finally we are. For those who have not booked it's not too late to do so. The dates are October 19 to 26 but you can book for any dates you want and you do not have to stay the whole week. Most members are staying at the Discovery Park Ballina (25 Fenwick Dr, Ballina Phone: (02) 6686 3953) but you can stay where you prefer and just meet up at the Discovery Park.
